This is the recommended thread for downloading, and posting any questions, suggestions or support queries for OctaneRender for ArchiCAD, build 1.50 onwards (STABLE RELEASE). This version is compiled against Octane 1.50, so see the requirements for that build regarding compatibility with your video card.

This version of the plugin runs on ArchiCAD 15, 16 and 17 - 64 bit.

Hi Paul,
In the 1.52 standalone version they added vertical shift,
" Add option to the thin lens camera node, to keep vertical lines parallel."
it would be great if you cloud integrate this feauture to the archicad plugin :D

Thank you.

Stefan.

Hi Paul :)

I have often these problems:

- the 'Pause Rendering' button seems not to work properly. Especially at bigger scenes it has very often no effect, the viewport
is still actualised when moving cam in the Archicad-3D-viewport

- sometimes when editing (octane) materials or when loading one from the DB, the viewport refreshes but the changed material
stays without any change. Even pressing 'refreshing geometry/materials' doesn't help. I have to close/open the plugin, then
it will be actualised

The first one does have nothing to do with the last Octane/AC-plugin updates, but the second one is a new one i think.

Greetings,
Artur

Thanks Artur. If you have a scene which demonstrates the above problems, can you pls send it to me?

Regarding the issue where the imported material does not update in the Viewport, I have seen this in my other Octane plugins, and it was caused by changing the material types in a material mix - but I could not reproduce it in the ArchiCAD plugin. So if you can help identify to situation where this occurs, that will help be track down the problem.
