Support for AEC objects

Hi, it would very useful to make the autocad plugin support for AEC objects (MEP,Architecture Objects). It is not practical when you make a change to the original file and then converted to solids, you had to start all over again with the textures, please check this suggestion for the final release.

Thanks

I agree - however there is no facility in the AutoCAD API to extract AEC object geometry. The only way to get vertices is to convert to solid - so unfortunately this is a necessary step.

If you want to not loose your textures, then use the Octane material "Save as Default" feature in the plugin for each of the AEC object material name - so when the plugin next encounters those material names, it will use the Octane setup you saved.
