Please, how can I make an animated luminance material
(TV Screen which lights the scene) with an image sequence applied?

thanks
Mike

absolutely,
look this and you'll see a example. Use c4d bitmap instead of octane imagetexture. for animated sequences

Hi aoktar,
works good so far!
But I got 2 problems with my tv:

1. when I add a second material with another anim-sequence to a second plane
(so 2 different TVs) - "only" one is rendering!
Either the second (with the second image sequence) is completely white
or isn't animating!
At least I need 4 different screens. Is there a workaround for this
or can Octane handle only "one"?

2. How can I make the emitting light stronger without overbrighten the image itself?
So that only the environment gets brighter.

thanks
Mike

Hi,

the latest available here in the forum.
Its 0.96 (GTX Titan, Win7 64, Dual 2680v2, 64 GB Ram)

Any tips for my second question about the blown-out image?

thanks
Mike

Hi,

I still have the problem, that I can only render "1" animated sequence.
Anyone else having this issue?

thanks
Mike

Hi aoktar,

the jpeg image sequences are named as follow:

Film_1__00000 ...
Film_2__00000 ...
Film_3__00000 ...
Film_4__00000 ...

Every sequence works for its own, but not together.

thanks
Mike
