Hello,

- The clipping END seems to not working. The clipping START works but not the clipping END.
Windows seven 64 bits.
OctaneRenderâ„¢ for Blender 1.20.2 - 2.4 beta Win

- Is there an RBG color correct node for texture ?

- Why the blender sun doesnt work in octane render ?

- Is there possible to have multiple uv on 1 object ?

Thanks !

No, but you have Octane Texture -> Octane Color Correct Texture node. This might help you.

Do you mean the sunlamp, or? Octane has its own daylight system.

Sadly no. I'm also eagerly awaiting this very useful option...

Hello and thanks matej for answer ;)
you have Octane Texture -> Octane Color Correct Texture node.
Yes, but with this node, you can't correct RGB invidualy. :?

Yes sunlamp, or hemi lamp, or spot lamp. In octane, it is juste possible to have daylight system or object with emission ?

Thanks again :)

Yeah, currently tha'ts the best we have in Octane as fas as texture color correction goes.

None of those lamps work in Octane. Octane has its own amazing daylight system (enabled by default), so forget about lamps. :) You can also use emitters (diffuse material with emission node plugged in)

It would be useful if the plugin could reconstruct Octane daylight parameters from a sunlamp directional position (so that you would get the shadows exactly as if the sunlamp was used), but I dont know if this is possible or how much work it involves, because Octane daylight works with realistic lat-lon & time parameters.

Hello matej and thanks for answer :)
Yeah, currently tha'ts the best we have in Octane as fas as texture color correction goes.
It is not color correction but contrast and gamma... Wait and see ! :D

A small summary of my experience:

OctaneRenderâ„¢ for Blender 1.20.2

Bugs i have found:
-Clipping END of camera doesnt work (clipping START works)
-ScaleY in Octane Image Tex node doesnt work

Things missing for me:
-A real RBG color correct node for texture
-Options UVMapping Image Mapping Extend, Clip, Repeat
-Multiple uv map
-Modifier UVProject

(2.4 beta Win - Windows seven 64 bits)

Thanks !
