Black Body Emission - Sampling Rate - HOW MUCH!!!???

hi,

as you can see in the attachment, the light from the Black Body Emission on the Wall show a pixellike Light/Structure... too rough...

my sampling rate is about 100... it it too low? or what is the problem...?

Hello,

Is your light plane or mirror subdivided with more polygones than necessary ? With smooth ? This takes more samples to resolve.
Is it PMC kernel ? PMC should be used with this kind of scene with mirror and light reflexion i think.

It's just ideas, maybe i'm wrong... :)

This seems to look like Pathtracing.
100 samples is way not enough in this case.

Try with 500 up .

it is direct lighting...

i will test several sampling rates...
