Hey folks I thought I would post some of my 'testing of 2.3' experiments. 
I'm not so good at rendering but I do like Octane technology.
Yeah I know the wood unwrap isnt so hot and the metal bump is too much
I pulled down Octane live mats for the metal and tweaked them a little.
Feel free to comment on my composition skills or lack of them etc.
I know there really should be some other interest in the pics like a rose or a name plate or something to bring some life to it. I should try harder - I heard that in school too
You do better if you pay attn to honest criticism and suggestions I guess.
Btw these may be a little dark on your LCD as they were rendered at night and detail was more obvious. Full pics below are 900x600
