Question for Face Off

Hi there. I ran into this issue while playing with skin materials. After exporting my v4 .POC file with modified bump settings under my specular node, when I import the POC file and retain existing imagemaps everything is as ive saved it except the settings under bump. the power would reset to 0.05 and If I choose to use imported image maps the actual texture gets replaced. I have seen default values in the octanedefaults.py but they dont seem to do anything in my regard. is there a way to solve this?

I have seen before this issue and will fix it. I'm working on the next version now, but it will be a few weeks away.

I noticed this, too .. hehe .. good someone else noticed it as well. I wasn't sure if it's a bugger or not =)

... btw, Witpapier, what were the original bump settings ("power") of your SSS skin materials, please?

Hi there Eric. Default is 0.05. I get quite good results playing at .15 to .25 . For the tounge pushing is from .6 and up ads quite a good effect. .15 also looks good on the lips. This is wheni use the redspec skin materials. Also on some skin texture enabling invert ads to the detail. :)
