Hi, everybody.
I try to make SSS here on this tutorial, I do in accuracy everything as shown:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a4fwNYB ... B&index=23
Here is my results:

If it is honest, the result not to be pleasant to me, it is impossible to achieve more or less natural look
You couldn't explain to me that I not so do?
Here is project files:

Check

Looks good. The overall look is a little waxy, but reducing the scale will fix that.

Your scale is probably off. SSS only renders correctly (in *any* renderer) if the scattering depth is consistent with the scale of the model. Example: if your model is 10 cm thick and your scattering depth is 11cm then the light will go all the way through.

I'll try to play with scale settings and see result. Scale it's a real world unit measurement? I mean if my model about 20 cm i need to set scale to about 10-15 units?

You need to go do some reading and figure out what the scale should be.
A model of 40cm (e.g. human head circumference) is going to only have a scattering of some small amount of mm (not sure exactly what) whereas a model of meter scale is going to have a scattering maybe in centimeters.
Go do your homework! ;->
