Hi,

Please look in the resources forum, there's a thread on top called 'OBJ export options...' which contains screenshots on how to configure 3ds max to export correctly to OBJ octane needs.
also, make sure you don't have spaces in your paths. (although this should be solved by now with 2.2)

I'm sorry but we can't help you without more information.
Please provide us with whatever is helpfull in determining the problem, like a simple test scene, screenshot of your export options etc...

at this time, octane supports only one mesh at one time, but this mesh can contain many objects and many materials (that you can assign from max in your case) also you can not move objects in octane, you have to do this in your host app

Hi,

Does it export an MTL file with material definitions in the same directory as the OBJ file ?
did you assign materials per object in max prior to exporting ?
