Unable to activate accounts on new Windows 8 OS w/ same hardware.
Initially they worked fine and now all the accounts, including Standalone are deactivated.

I checked online and they seemed ok and active. I then removed the OctaneRender folder as suggested on several posts here, nothing. I still get this error: "This account has been deactivated due to possible abuse. Please contact us via email at [email protected]"

Has my account been compromised, how do I fix this? HELP!

Not sure which folder you had removed, but opening windows explorer and going to: %appdata%
from there, remove the OctaneRender folder and restart octane.

This removes the account configuration.

Edit: Re-reading that seems to be what you've already done, sorry. That same fix worked for me on Win8 x64...
