Cornea Specularity Problem

Hello,

I have been hitting a brick wall for quite some time now, when I'm trying to model cornea around the eye, but every time I get too close to the surface of the white material surrounding Iris, the specular cornea seems to not let any light through to the iris/the white stuff(see picture)..

Is there any solution to this? Am I doing something wrong?

I have path-tracing set up with 6 bounces, and the specular mat IS volumetric with no holes and RI set at 1.33.

Any help?

Try to use pmc kernel, or increase caustic blur to 0.5

Thank you :).. PMC was the answer, alongside a bunch of button pushing/trying/testing/tweaking :).

If you need to use Path Tracing, try setting the rayepsilon to 0.00001.
