Gamma Issue?

The colors are strange. Am I doing something wrong? Using 1.0 RC3, Max 2013.

Playing with the gamma there doesn't fix things. Tried both the modify panel and render setup locations.

if you have a camera in the scene, setings in "render setup" does not work, they work in the camera setup.

You mean in the modify panel? I already tried that. Additionally it doesn't address the mat previews. Thanks for your help, though.

To use octane camera image settings you have to click to camera viewport (perspective), otherwise octane uses settings from render panel.
What inveronment do you use?

There is no environment map right now, just octane sun, octane camera, and sphere with liveDB mat. Everything else is as it was installed.

Your sphere looks overexposed. Try to reduce exposure.
