Gamma Issue?

The colors are strange. Am I doing something wrong? Using 1.0 RC3, Max 2013.
Playing with the gamma there doesn't fix things. Tried both the modify panel and render setup locations.Vanya wrote:look imager in "camera settings"
if you have a camera in the scene, setings in "render setup" does not work, they work in the camera setup.jcuratolo wrote:Playing with the gamma there doesn't fix things. Tried both the modify panel and render setup locations.Vanya wrote:look imager in "camera settings"
You mean in the modify panel? I already tried that. Additionally it doesn't address the mat previews. Thanks for your help, though.Vanya wrote:if you have a camera in the scene, setings in "render setup" does not work, they work in the camera setup.jcuratolo wrote:Playing with the gamma there doesn't fix things. Same deal, negligible improvement. I'm haven't a clue what this could be from.suvakas wrote:Disable Max gamma correction.

To use octane camera image settings you have to click to camera viewport (perspective), otherwise octane uses settings from render panel.jcuratolo wrote:Same deal, negligible improvement. I'm haven't a clue what this could be from.suvakas wrote:Disable Max gamma correction.

There is no environment map right now, just octane sun, octane camera, and sphere with liveDB mat. Everything else is as it was installed.Karba wrote:To use octane camera image settings you have to click to camera viewport (perspective), otherwise octane uses settings from render panel.jcuratolo wrote:Same deal, negligible improvement. What inveronment do you use?
Your sphere looks overexposed. Try to reduce exposure.jcuratolo wrote: There is no environment map right now, just octane sun, octane camera, and sphere with liveDB mat. Everything else is as it was installed.
