OctaneRender® for 3ds max® v1.0 beta 2.58e[TEST]

Hello everyone

Small update is here.
Just 3dsmax 2013 support and some small changes

NEW FEATURES SINCE LAST RELEASE:
  • 3dsmax 2013 support
  • Support for RGB Spectrum and Float Texture nodes. You can use the same color/value for several places.
  • LiveDB materials are ported to active material editor slot, not fixed.
BUG FIXES SINCE LAST RELEASE:
  • Some LiveDB materials were not converted properly.

Great! I needed this! Octane for Max is working really well for me now :)

Unfortunatelly there is a small bug with RGB Spectrum. Fix will be ready to downloand in 1hour.

Bug with RGB Spectrum is fixed. Files are updated.
Please download it again.

Yeah, That's an interesting question. Are we going to see at least network rendering implimented so without a headache we could render with the help of small farm running Octane on let's say Apple's Air? =)

Hi Karba,

Would it be to hard to implement a Shadow Pass and Support for a Matte/Shadow Material to help in further compositing? WOuld be so great especially in heavy scenes where we also have character animation...
