I think, the reason of crash is not came from PCIe x8.
Did you install proper CUDA driver, version 3.0?

Hi,

If you're using windows, just install the latest drivers from the nvidia website for your operating system and GPU type.

I've try all that things.... and nothing. Drivers are latest and working fine. I'm doing everything like in first video. Import objects, then click on it to render. Program seems to calculating something, but i can't see objects there like on video. I try to set up the view than program crashes.
Maybe this IS cause PCIe x8???

no, a 8x or 16x slot makes no difference, it's just a little bit slower.

i recommend using the free tool 'driver sweeper', google for it, remove all nvidia drivers,
and reinstall the latest WHQL drivers from the main nvidia download site.

do the demo suite scenes work ?
they are a separate zip file that you can download on the demo downloads page.

can you explain, in details please.

if you load the benchmark scene in the demosuite archives, via File -> Open, the load the benchmark OCS project file.
once it's loaded you click on the mesh node.

do you see anything rendered or does it just crash when you click on the node ?
if this is the case, you're drivers are screwed up.
in that case we can't help you any further, if you sweeped your drivers and installed the latest ones,
and it still does'nt work, there's something wrong with your windows installation or such...

does the card work ? have you tried running a video game on it ?
