Light emitter-direction?

Hello,
I have a small problem with the emitter ...
As you can see from the picture, the light is projected above and not below.
Is there a way to reverse the direction?

yes

turn the plane mesh that's being used for the emitter through 180deg.it looks like the normals are pointing upwards.Therefore the emitter is emitting the light in the direction of the normals.
