This is a model i had began modeling and stopped about a year ago. Testing out octane render made me love modelling again, and discovering new areas :)
This is at the very beginning of WIP, but unfortunately there aren't any reference photos/blueprints online about the rear/engine of the car. If anyone catches any image of that part please let me know! :D

Hi and welcome,

I moved this thread into the WIP gallery.
This forum is for questions regarding installing and use of our demo version.

Nice render by the way :)

Make a huge 12 cylinder monster slightly uncovered at the end :) And Ithink it will work ;)

more WIP as suspension details are added, i really love the low FOV views :D what do you think about the tyres material? the bump looks good to me

Still haven't got any images of the rear end/diffuser... i think i'll have to compromise quite a lot :?

Wow, this looks very great. How long did you render on it? How many tris has this scene?

Sorry for taking so long to reply!!

Maybe you'd like to use this one better for the gallery ;)

The scene is around 400K polys, and octane rocks with procedurals!! 8-)
Thank you for the excellent software radiance and the whole team, take a rest and enjoy life ;)
I know it's a bit dark, but i think it makes the scene more dramatic according to the weather :D

how did you get different size of square in the textures of wall?
did you get whth procedural texture or whit a simple texture?
If you have used procedural textures can you explain how you did?

Thanks a lot

Decided to change the building to 3D and use pathtracing which gives many more details as expected :D
more detail might be added later on when i have time.

And couldn't resist to upload a high resolution image with a few touches in photoshop! now it looks like legacy F1 :)
