I mean you put some plane light behind the camera etc or just the lighting from lamp?

this rig is a little bit complex
I have three planes behind the camera 5000 - 5500 - 6500 kelvin
It's important (in a 3d or real scene) to have lights with different colors from slight orange to slight cyan (mixed warm and cool). This is not a fixed rule. If you have a car you have to use only cool lights for example. If you have a colored interior you can mix lights. Take a look at any movie scene and understand how is illuminated. Sometime some lights are forced (blue or orange for example)
On the ceiling I put a planar light (hided)
The ceiling got lights in the caves
There are lights behind the panels with bottles that simulates fluorescent lights (forced 8500 k)
One HDR image in the environment slot.
In every shot I calibrated the lights differently
I love real photography, it can help you on how illuminate a subject.

I also like real photography, but dont know a lot about lighting photography

:D

Thanks a lot Gabriele

8-) VERY NICE!!!!!

please do something for me !

please rerender the 3rd picture with different format... 2:1 ( my personal favourite ) like 2000X1000 and upload it on competition topic...

maybe Im little weird but 4:3 or similar proportions feels old

other than that top notch work... and 3rd render just kicked my ass.. :)

This is awesome :)

Would it be possible for me to use some of these images on our WIP new product page for the 3ds max plugin product ?
If so, could you post a few screenshots of max with your wireframe / opengl shaded view and octane UI panels/viewport etc ?

Great work and thanks for posting it here :)
