Another strange find:

Rendereing with PMC. After a while GPU1 stopped rendering while GPU2 made its job. No idea why it stopped.
Even more strange the Samp/s display shows the same value like if both GPU render.

After de-selecting and re-selcting the CUDA device GPU1 jumped in again and renders nice. But Samp/s are still same value.

It all happens with a low 800x450px Viewport render.

could you add time stamp count down on the toolbar? Every time I have to do a manual subtraction...:)

Regarding resolution would benice if you add a lock for proportional frame buffer scaling, then a button for 1x1 zoom..

My final renders are about A4 in landscape (3507x2480). Every time I have to calculate manually a downsized preview.

If you add a constrain proportion lock I can resize the Octane fb that matches always my camera frame.

Regards.
I think the best way is a user customization.

If I try to place a material from liveDB into a material slot which is part of a multi-material then my multi-material and all other slots get replaced. This results in a loss of all other multi-mats.
You have to use free slot first to port material.

Because I have a widget on my desktop which shows me data for each GPU about temps, load, and other stuff. It works very well for years now.
Plus unpicking the little gpu1 checkbox and rechoosing it make gpu1 run again.

Sure, here it is (sorry german page):

http://blog.orbmu2k.de/sidebar-gadgets/ ... bar-gadget

The guy has a lot o other really nice working widgets too. I use the one for CPU too.
For multi-GPu you need to open the widget two times and choose the individual GPU then. Its easy. :)
