Octane custom color sliders are great because they doesn't block render engine from continous rendering. All other C4D sliders and gradients cause that Octane stop rendering until mouse button is released.

Are they in 2022 too ? I didn't notice differencies ? I mean "other" sliders and gradients ? Is there something new in this 2021 build ? I'm using 2022 at the moment.

Hi there! using the latest stable I'm having this weird issue where octane and c4d both crash when double-clicking a knot in the octane gradient node. It seems to work fine if I change the color without double clicking (using the menu below the knot) but the double-clicking is so ingrained in my muscle memory that it is a bit of a problem.

Hi,
we cannot reproduce this issue here, maybe plugin is not installed correctly

Please write to help at otoy dot com so we can investigate more deeply.
ciao,

I too have many crash problems with this version.
With Cinema 4D 2023 the situation is even worse!

Win 10 + RTX 3090 - Bug report attached

do you have a more stable one for you? It looks like you're sending a report from 2021.1.5. Also there's a compilation error from geometry accelerator. Do you have vertex displacements?

I also tried version 2021.1.6 but it still crashes. I only have one texture displacement

It's looks like your geometries or vertex displacement. Having one displacement doesn't mean that will not crash. It's possible if you go high on tessellation.
