Does octane standalone work on your GPU?

Yes, standalone works quite well, I tried it by importing one obj.

What do you see if you press "open octane viewport" button?

Actually nothing... just the surface, as you can see in my screenshot.
Also, If I try to create a new octane material, be it diffuse, glossy etc, max crashes. If I open scenes with octane materials in them, max crashes if I try to generate a material preview.

Your version is not RC2.
Please update to RC2.

Hey Karba, thanks a lot... I did download it a few days ago.. but it did not work, I guess you updated it recently

my browser downloaded it as a duplicate as well... but I still gave it a shot and now it works.. thanks again!

hi karba another bug of octanerender into 3ds max, now say warning renders is failed !
i attach image
i need close and restar again the octanerender viewport to load the complete scene
please, let me know why happen this

I have a small feature request:
I use "Create camera from View" a lot in 3dsmax to quickly set up views. Can you add a right-click dialog to setup an Octane Camera this way?
