Octane doesnt suport anything but a direct light, the script can be altered to accept vray, brazil, any specific light as well ofcourse.

I work in millimeters in 3ds Max, will the scale transfer correctly to Octane with this exporter?

Hi guys. Did anyone managed to render animation using 'existing project' option in 3ds max 2009 x64 max2octane script?

Just found what the problem was:) When setting up animation scene in octane you must import obj trough max2octane script. First time I tried to render anim I imported obj manualy and it didn't work later on.

There's little bug in 2009 script. Script doesn't wait for octane to finish rendering and immediately after first frame starts rendering it's exporting another frame from max and running new istance of octane and for short time there's tens of octane instances running making big mess:).
