Please, perform a clean installation of 431.70 Nvidia Studio driver:
https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 9125/en-us
To perform a clean installation, please follow these steps:

In general, avoid to install the latest gaming driver, and install only Nvidia Studio driver versions.
ciao Beppe

Thank you Beppe,

This is always how I update my Nvida drivers. I use Gforce experience and only install the Nvidia Studio Drivers.

I tried to come back to previous version of drivers 430.86 but I still have the problem (with both 4.04 R2 and 4.05 R2)
Note that I additionally updated to latest version of windows 10 (1903) last night...

Edit : I could get it to work, I don't know how... Maybe my VDB was too heavy that it took a huge amount of time to display. Mystery.

What's strange for you?
Diffuse node randomly inverts texture, by clicking on a different nodes is it normal?

We have just upgraded to this current version, we have multiple pc's with 4x1080ti or 2080 ti's and up to date windows, we have dual screens and custom layouts. We have found that having the Texture Manager open, Material Editor or the Material Manager open when opening a scene file with lots of textures takes several minuets or crashes completely, is this a known issue?

looks like we have narrowed it down to the texture manager causing the main problem

Thanks for reporting it, I'm not aware of that. But you can use C4D's texture manager with R20. Our manager may not be perfect. I'll look in to...
