AaronWestwood wrote:Even on studio driver, the LV lags and fails to update. For example, I scrub the 'North Offset' of a daylight around a cube, it will be streaming the updates as usual while im adjusting, but on mouse release it doesnt render. It just freezes, but I think its a visual bug (however it has crashed me). Once I adjust the size of the window while its frozen, the rendered version shows itself.
Gif below. As you can see, the render only updates when the UI window changes (my curser is invisible, but you'll see what I mean

)
Why don't you post settings as I asked?

Oh I just saw that sorry. I’m just away from my desk, so can when I get home. But every setting is completely default.
New machine, fresh install, no settings have been changed at all. Would a screenshot still help?

Settings for ref
EDIT: With more testing this only seems to happen when the samples are low, such as the default 128. With the samples being higher, im yet to replicate the visual error. Hmmmmm, weird?

Ive noticed Octane is only allowing me to enable 2 (of the 3) GPUs.
The Octane DEVICE settings box will not allow me enable the 3rd card. If I try to check that box it flashes a red cross and remains unchecked, despite checking that box in the C4D window.
see screen shot
Win 10 64-bit
RTX2080Ti x 3
C4D R21.022 (RC)
Nvida Driver 436.15
Octane 2018.1.3-R2

My Driver version is 431.86. I've attached the snapshots below. Tried reinstalling the driver but I'm still having the same problem. It works when I double click on the materials but doesn't show up when I render out a preview.
Update: I opened the project with R20 using 2018.1.3 R2 and the same problem still persists. I reinstalled 2018.1.3 and the textures are back and working like it should is render preview. It seems like a problem with the R2 build.
