i think there was never a time when so many changes and updates came in such short intervals.
this is great of course, but due to the nature of things this brings also troubles.
as aoktar stated fixing all issues takes time, and i just wanted to say that this time should be taken.
Not a problem, never thinking like that. Just trying to describe what we are doing. Thanks

Ok, I'll ask again.
Where is gone the option of placing render passes into folders?
It was a very great feature, which allows faster load time passes to After Effects.
The second issue is the rendering queue in Cinema R16 (Windows 7). The program renders only one scene, and at the next scene the program freezes. R15 version does not have this problem.
Thanks for any help.

Hi aoktar,
thanks for those fast updates. Really appreciating the improved Render-Layer system. Keep it up.
I have one question for infopasses (User Pixelkingdom asked something like this before).
Is there any chance for getting blurred layermasks? Am I missing something, or is this feature just not supported yet. Just curious.
In one of InlifeThrills tutorials the same issue appears, though actually it didn't seem to be a problem for him

.
best regards

Hmm, what's the problem? Are we talk about dof+render layer masks as in picture?

Yes, here. It's hidden feature. Will be appeared when you uncheck "multilayer file". Also there is a bug in sdk about passes's render progress. This causes random pauses

Okay, so it works only in files that have the possibility of layers (tiff, psd, exr)
In the files (jpg, tga, png) which can not turn on the multilayer there is no folder options, unfortunately.
---update---
There is a bug in this setting. When set to EXR such as folders option is enabled, we also have in JPG, PNG, and TGA. However, when the multilayer EXR is enabled, then for the JPG etc. there is no option folders.

hmm, not sure if I'm missing something, but it seams that
alpha is not working anymore.
When applying a b/w tex in opacity slot it shows up correctly
in the mat-editor preview, but when rendering (LV and also PV)
its not cuttet out - it renders black.
thanks
Mike

ah ok, thx
I took the sample-File concerning layermasks from the opening-post as a reference, so I gues that was the problem.
There the "Render Layer Masks" box under infopasses wasn't checked, just the layer mask ID boxes, which already gave me my black/white passes.
So after checking "Render Layer Mask" box, masks have dof included, which is great, but still no motionblur. Any further tips?

Effekt-Etage,
Really, that's correct. I'll ask for that to Strafied(Thomas). He may have a explanation for that.
