We work on it. For some reason render speed for this GPU is much lower than expected.

Octane for Max lacks the possibility to save in exr or hdr 16-32bit using octane camera.

If I deactivate tonemapping but I use an octane camera the exr or hdr saved file will have 8 bit color depth and will maintain the tonemapping.
Impossible to use this render for professional color correction.

Hm, just have checked. It works as it should.
What did you do to get the issue?
it works,
I don't know what's happened
sorry...

@Karba:

Octane for Max suffer of the old annoying bug at big resolutions.

If I launch a render at 4000x3000 pixels (using the Max frame buffer) and I try to stop it Max crashes.

I use all my 4 GTX580.

Please Karba, could you check it?

I think you need a workstation with 4 GTX to understand the problem.

Regards

I have fixed it already. Wait for a new release.

Thank you Karba,

I found another bug.

I'm rendering several 4000x3000 pixels images and randomly Octane for Max crashes the gpu. On the previous release never happened.

It doesn't happen only on gpu 1 but can happen on gpu 2, 3 or 4

It happens randomly.

Regards

At what stage of render does it happen?

It happened in one room of a big apartment model. I restarted the workstation and everything was fine again.
