what about the carrara plugin ?
can I use the DS4 Plugin also for Carrara ?

Not dead, working on the integration with DS4.
Also several addons are being rolled into main, so the light substitution works in DS4 and DS3, Material resizer and batch processing all functioning. Just have a few more things to fix with the pending changes coming to DS4.5.

Since new requirements for OctaneRender® Beta 2.58c direct network rendering may be removed. You can still generate the batch file but no longer direct render.

So this will work with DS 4.5? How much longer to you expect it might be in terms of weeks?

Now that DS 4.5 RC2 is available, I was curious as to how things on the plugin front are progressing? I'm sure it was a bit of a moving target for awhile (and may still be heh) , and hope progress is being made still.
