When the size of the Area Shape gets smaller (5cm x.y.) the Gobo will get more focused, but the light beams will stop mid way.
If the size of the Area Shape gets larger (30cm x.y.) the Gobo will be out of focus, but the beams will shoot further.
It would be nice if the beams would still persist even with a very small emitter.

I will check again but as I said - it cache them again and again for every render Take. Maybe it is caused by Take system which trigger them to reload ?
As I said that we don't cache something that's visible to user. Takes will cause load the unloaded parts when you switch on/off.
Does it have any specific cache folder somewhere ? I can't find anything on my hdd storages that looks like cache folder.

Use the
Falloff Radius in the
Octane Light Tag > Light Settings > Analytic Parameters to control the
length of the Analytic Light Beam, as shown in the image.

If an analytical light is inside a VDB Fog Volume, you can see it through geometry I reckon.
Looks like a core bug, I reported it.
Thanks!

Color Correction Hue is not backward compatible anymore. It has parameter from -1 to 1 but loads old scenes with hue much greater values - it cause visible color mismatch.
Saving doesn't work if the same file exist before - so no overwrite. EXR (Octane) using $take in filename.

CC was like that in 2022.x and guys turned from a wrong decision with this. It will not broke the old compatibility else of WIPs of 2023.
Saving problem must be related with your side, not us.

I forgot about other little issue. If custom AOV is used it is set by default to "none - primary rays only" but it works like "reflections and refractions". There is need to change it manually and switch again to "none" if we want it by default.

I cannot see this. How do you check it? Opened in standalone and checked?

Please see - it's need to switch from "none" to something else and again to have real "none"
