I'm in a situation where the render in the live viewer is different than the picture viewer.
Let me explain
With Xparticles, I'm emitting particles from a shader, then I'm meshing these particles with an Ovdbmesher.
I'm using the vertex color tag in the diffuse to have the vdb colored. In the LV no problem, but in the final render, the Ovbmesher has no color.
Here is a preview of my workflow.
The attachment Sans-titre-1.jpg is no longer available
Can you tell if I'm doing something wrong ?
Thank you
Did you changed with render settings? Show me pls if so!
No I did'nt change the render settings of octane, or xparticles.
Here is a screenshot, do you need my scene too ?

Hey there! I have a big issue on the latest releases of 4.0.
The kind of projects i make are usually of around 900 frames, that on preview, render at around 6 seconds each. But when i send to render the whole sequence, it takes around 4 more seconds to start procesing every frame. So it grows the render time like crazy.
The first 4.0 beta got rid of that problem and every frame rendered super fast. The render time stated in the info bar at the bottom of the render was the actual time shown at the end of the frame on the "history" of the picture render. Every render was actually shown rendered on 6 seconds, but now they are shown rendererd on 10 seconds even tho according to the info bar at the bottom it was rendered in 6.
I'm i being clear? That's something that i NEED and would LOVE to see fixed soon

Is it possible for C4D to remember which GPU is selected for Denoising? So I can pick GTX card instead or RTX.
My RTX cards have an issue when Denoising the first frame of a scene ( reported to beppe ).

The numbers you see that are about rendering session after scene preparation. Other than this plugin and octane core spends some extra time to process scene data.

Having cuda 700 crashes when using displacement node and various projection types. Seems to be intermittent.
Plenty of VRAM, PSU is fine, latest drivers, no overclocking.
Scene attached.
