Hi Deane. It looks like the installer picked up one of the Octane 1.23 library files. I have rectified this and re-uploaded. Can you pls download and try again? Apologies for the error.

Paul

Deane - are you getting this with a new Andy scene? Or is it happening with old scenes loaded into the new version? Other people have emailed me to say that version fix some of their issues - so I wonder if there is something specific about your config which is causing this. Have you checked that rayepsilon is not 0?

Also Deane, can you pls check that all the files in C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2014\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\64 (except VCOMP100.dll) have today's date pls?

And - if you export to Octane Standalone 1.24, does it happen?

Paul

This scene was created with version 1.23.0.13... in fact rendering perfectly in it now (gone back to the older version to get some work done).
Ray is set to 0.00001 yup that's 1e-05
If the new versions of Octane render for Poser are going to make existing scenes not compatible, then what's the use of saving them
I often get asked the re-render old scenes to larger sizes, but how will I remember with version of the plugin it was rendered in to make it work?
Who the hell is Andy... if it doesn't work with a base V4 then why do we need Andy?
Still... can't find where to change co-ordinate space to world space.
Version 1.23.0.13 works a treat.

Yes all have todays date... vcomp100.dll has 20/12.2013

And yes... same stuff in Octane Standalone... means you got it right and they didn't... LOL

This girls getting the big stick out now!!!!
