I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread. Pls download and install.

1.17a5
- Plugin now uses "Linear Color Space" (see http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=33214). This means it converts the RGB color of an RGBspectrum node in the plugin node tree into linear space when the scene is loaded into Octane. This will mean that Octane will render the actual color you have selected in the color picker. Proxy objects do not yet use linear color space, but will in a near future.
- Fixed issue where moving the "maxsamples" slider restarted the render
- Fixed issue where load/save from default was not working correctly for rendertargets
- Fixed issue where the vertical position of proxies was not being calculated correctly for objects not on the ground floor

I managed to replicate and will send you some files by e-mail.
Jeroen - I looked through all the file you sent. Is it possible that when you are loading the scene, it is loading using the Internal Renderer (which does not display texturemaps)? The view where the textures has not loaded is identical to a view you would get with the internal renderer, so I wonder if for some reason OpenGL has not kicked in yet?
Paul
Hi Paul,
It does not seem that is the case. When opening my file with the texture-not-loaded the 3d window settings is on OpenGL.
When swithcing to Internal Engine and after that switching back to OpenGL it does not load the textures.
When opening the AC Materials Settings and only press OK to close it it loads the textures,
so to me it seems a Material Loading issue.
But if this 'ghost'is only in my machine I would not spend any of your valuable time on this untill someone else has this issue as weel. (For me it is no problem opening and close the Material Settings one time when starting the pln).

Hi Paul,

When opening the OR plugin I get this Warning message:
Ignoring rendertargert found with incorrect node type.
I had saved rendertargets to views, but when re-opening the file I lost all rendertargets.
How can I solve this or what can I do to have it again?

greetz,

Update: I had one material in an Archicad object that had material missing.. maybe that caused it?
I assigned a material made a new rendertarget save to view, closed and opende Archicad and plugin and now everything seems fine again.

Hi Jeroen

That warning is a check I put in to indicate if there was an issue saving the file. If you encounter the message again, could I trouble you to send the pln file to me pls? In the meantime, I'll look into this in more detail this week.

When playing around I notice I have to go back and forth a lot to a certain path and folder to assign OBJ.s, to save csv file in another folder, and so on.
Could it be possible to remmeber the latest path for different tasks.
I noticed this too. I will see what I can do. It would only remember the last path until you shutdown ArchiCAD. But separate paths with CSV and OBJ would help a lot.
Remembering the last path would also be very nice for other functions like materials (images), texture for environment lighting, and probably other paths....
Greetings, Jeroen

The next version (which will be against 1.20 - available next week) "remembers" the last path for floatimage, alphaimage and image nodes, and uses the last path IF there is not currently an image specified for a node. If a node already has an image file, clicking the Image button will take you to that images files directory (as currently happens). Last path is lost when you shutdown AC (so it is only remembered for that session).
