Try to turn off any object while material node is active in node editor. Edit controls must be turned on.

This is caused by turned off material previews option : After that if material node is selected there is no way to turn off objects in scene. Also some other live updates function doesn't work.

If you disable these two options then some functions will not work fine. Keep these are enabled

Aoktar, please tell me if there are any plans to add a realtime denoiser,

Directlight does not change its position depending on the rotation, it ignores position changes

Hue parameter from Color Correction node doesn't work at all.
