Is there a possibilty to save the hdr project file in my poser project like the plugin setups?
My workflow at this point is to render a hdr file or to save the hdr project in hdr studio to prepare it later.

This was implemented in release 2.6.0.24 of the plugin. Are you using that version?

Octane Plugin (2.6.0.25) is searching for the file like in version 2.6.0.23.

I had the same problem too. I was able to fix it by assigning another HDR in the environment section, quit the plugin , start it again and then starting HDR light studio. Now the other HDR file was replaced witht he HDR lightstudio.
To avoid this problem I now always render the HDRI out before I save the scene so the HDR is saved in the folder you specifiy.

You get this message because the Poser pz3 was saved with a temp HDR Light Studio hdr map - which HDR Light Studio deletes. So either ignore it - or do a "Render HDR Light Studio Environment" (from the rightclick menu in the plugin Setup tab) to create a permanent map.

I will amend the next version of the plugin to popup a more meaningful message (like "HDR Light Studio was used to generate a temporary environment for this scene. Start HDR Light Studio in order to re-generate this environment").

It should yes, although I have received a report from one user indicating you needed to move a light in some situations for the image map to refresh in Poser. I will investigate this and put a fix through in the next release if I can reproduce the problem.
