I would say it depends if its blocking you from doing a project, or if you really don't mind. The issues I run into are pretty regular and forced me to learn how to deal.

So where's the developer guy? In the hospital? Did he die? Did he take the money and run? Getting kinda worried here...

I know it's very frustrating, all this waiting, especially when the poser plugin is getting regular updates.

3dmania, it is about communication. As a developer for the past 15 years both actively developing and managing a team, the worst thing you can do is be is silent. Taking a few minutes for a weekly update on something that is greatly anticipated goes a long way.
The trick is scheduling and making the time to do it.
Just my opinion of course.

Thanks for letting us know t_3 is alive and kicking! I was a bit concerned that he might have had a bit of misfortune in RL too. Looking forward to the new beta when it's ready!

I've found that t_3 is normally very helpful when trying to answer problems and queries about the plugin. Often giving comprehensive replies very soon after the question is asked.
What I think would make life easier for all plugin users and developers is for OTOY to pool regular (bi-weekly or monthly?) updates about how each plugin is developing and then take responsibility to post these on the appropriate forums. If OTOY set up a quick and easy system for developers to do this then perhaps each plugin developer would participate in it and we would have regular updates. Even if nothing has changed in two weeks or a month at least we would know why. These plugins must be incredibly complicated to develop so if it takes much longer to work on one part of them than at other times I for one could appreciate that. But at the moment news about development progress seems very adhoc which I think causes frustration at times.

No, I'm sorry. I'm sick of waiting.
You keep asking us to be patient? This plugin does not work properly. It hasn't worked properly for over half a year.
You are knowingly selling a faulty product while making vague promises of a future update.
This is the last straw. Actually do some work for a change and release it.

Yeah you're lying. I don't know why the hell you want to play white knight for this indolent developer but I'm not going to stand for it any longer. We all need to rise up and tell this guy we're sick of waiting, not idly stand by and hope he'll one day get off his rear and finish this!

hi veil32!
having fulfilled a bunch of your claims lately, i'd of course like to get some more good vibes into game again. just let me know what in addition would help you to vent out the anger. of course in substitution for anyone else that might feel the same...
