I will look into this tomorrow.

Hi Paul,
It seems only to happen when I add a new material while the OR Viewport is open.
But it does not happen always? So I am not 1005 sure about that.
When I changed a material within the plugin material tab and then added in AC a new material it happend again.
Maybe the plugin has to save the materials first (does that happen in the PLN?)
and when having added a new material in AC and that is not conform the saved materials it does not load correctly?
But still, I cannot replictae it everytime... it is like a ghost.
I don't think it is a mayor bug, because I just have to reload the material library and everything is OK. It is just bugging the brains, isn't it?
And yes maybe it is Archicad bug after all and not plugin...
It is difficult because it not 100% to replicate.
greetz, Jeroen

Hi Paul,
When adjusting the maxsamples it starts all over again while in the standalone it continues the rendering.
greetings, Jeroen

Jeroen, I have had a good look at this, and cannot reproduce the issue. I need very very precise instructions on what you are doing (rather than "and then added in AC a new material", what actual keys/menu item are you using) so that I can make the issue happen on my PC so that I can fix it. Assume I have not used ArchiCAD before - that's the level of detail I need. Sorry :-\

Fixed in the next release.

Hi Paul,
I am making step-by-step printscreens, but now I cannot seem to replicate the issue at all.
That might be good news.. if this was an accident and maybe only on my computer.
Hopefully it is solved... maybe by having a complete restart computer after having the latest versions installed.
Anyway... I will get back to you when I am able to replicate or I let you know if it does not happen for a while. (let'shope for the last).
And if no one else is having the same problem.. there is no problem if I am concerned.
greetings, Jeroen
UPDATED:
I managed to replicate and will send you some files by e-mail.

I have some issues with the proxies heights. As you can see in the pics the bed its a proxi in the level -1, but the proxi appears in octane with the right x-y but with the z at 0. Is there any form to change the coordinates of the proxie? maybe with a csv?

The attachment proxie.JPG is no longer available
I tried to find out why the proxy is not on the right level.
when the AC object is on another story and set to that other story the proxy is located on the groundfloor and not on the current floor.
This also happens on higher level story.
When the objects "home story" is set to the story 0 (groundfloor) it locates the proxy on the right position relativaly.
@Paul, does that makes sense to you to fix/change?
greetings, Jeroen

Hi, this issue will probably be fixed by Paul if possible.
A workaround with csv is quiet a hazzle, but maybe this example is handy in future for other issues?
Therefor I added an image where you can see how to locate a AC object and how to transfer to a csv.

I will fix this.
I have also found a couple of very minor GUI issues with the AC17 version which I am fixing.
The next version will also have the change to Linear Color Space (search these forums for details). In summary, the current version is not providing colors to the Octane engine in "linear space", so the color you see on an RGBSpectrum color swatch is not identical to what is being rendered by Octane. This change should fix this.
I'm also still looking at Jeroen's missing texturemap problem.

Jeroen - I looked through all the file you sent. Is it possible that when you are loading the scene, it is loading using the Internal Renderer (which does not display texturemaps)? The view where the textures has not loaded is identical to a view you would get with the internal renderer, so I wonder if for some reason OpenGL has not kicked in yet?
