Interesting, just did a quick test and was not able to duplicate the error. what is in your scene? how often does this happen?

Bare scene, simply Vic5 with Bree textures, nothing else

Hi guys

I'm net to DAZ Studio and daz2octane.

I have downloaded and installed DAZ Studio 4 but i don't seem to be ablo to find the scripting tool.

Anyone can adress me to the right direction?

I have done several tests over the past few days and have not gotten that error. Unsure what is causing it for you.
Hopefully should be resolved in next release.

Did you install the plugin per the instructions.
Remember you can do a search in DS4 to find installed content

do I have to install the Script SDK? I see no 'Scripts' menu like you have in your screenshots...

I can't find the one for DS4, apparently it's not out yet, only the one for DS3.

Tug,

Will your plugin 'fix' some of the obj material export issues? All materials get exported (or imported into octane) as difuse instead of glossy or specular and the bump maps are set to 100% instead of using the DS settings. Eyes need alot of tweeking after import and specular maps are not exported at all. I've used your demo (II) and I see no difference between the export the plugin does and the native DS obj export. I noticed that there is a material setup tab in your plugin but it is read only right now. I'm hoping this will be a functional part of your plugin once you release...

Yes. Im actually working on an animation that show that the plugin will set map for eyes and yes Daz2Octane is capable of animation.
