Can we get more controls for AO engine? Like shadow color, sunlight color if we want it more vibrant and yellow, etc. I think rendering animation in path-tracing mode with GPUs is still not easy or fast.

Movable proxy
I always turn it on. I tried all the modes, it doesn't work, although it worked before.
octane 2024.1.2

Hi Elvissuperstar007,
That’s strange, it seems to be working on my end.
Could it be a scale issue?

Your TurboSmooth has Iterations = 1 — that’s why the model is smoothed in the viewport.
Set Iterations = 0.
Leave Render Iters at 2, 3 or 4 — whatever you prefer.
Result: low-poly cage in viewport, fully smoothed mesh only on render.

Hi Paride,
Can you please look at the file attached. For some reason octane is not rendering flames? VDB was made in embergen. Thank you
Here is another file with temp exported and it looks like minecraft
PS Embergen used to render nicely but not it's a mess and renders blocks. How can we recreate good flames like in embergen? Could you please recreate the same flame as embergen using VDB i attached? Thank you!

After many attempts and messing with channel this is what I have but it doesn't have this depth and flame contrast. How can I make it look like in embergen? Could you look at the scene. Maybe I am missing something. Octane doesn't have this contrast like embergen .
It's like embergen I can see inside flames and see crisp fire edge.
Thank you!

There is a bug with motion blur.
The camera is attached to the moving sphere, but the sphere is getting motion blur as if it were passing by a stationary camera.
The scene is attached.
It should be the opposite — the background should have motion blur because both the camera and the sphere are moving.
Can this be fixed ASAP?
Thanks
Hi coilbook,
This will be fixed in the next release (16.11).
