That's a pretty vague request. If you can be more explicit in what you are trying to achieve, you might get better feedback. If you mean nodes with math functions that include exponents, take a look at the Math Unary and Math Binary nodes in the Custom Textures section.

Two issues :
1. Ripple C4D shader ignore Object and Particles fields. Strange but most of the C4D shaders works fine :
2. There is no way to change brush color and brightness while painting textures if this texture is used in Octane material. Brush is completely locked, even Eraser doesn't work :
Octane Texture Manager : Update List doesn't work ( there is need to reopen manager ), "Replace with" feature really should work only for selected images from list instead of all listed just like C4D Project Asset Inspector.

just forwarding this from FB (since user can not post on forums)
can't seem to get my Octane working in Cinema4D:
Macbook Pro M1 Max
MacOs: Ventura 13.6.4
Cinema 4D: 2024.2.0
OctaneRender: 2023.1.3_R3_OSX
Deleted the older 'xlib' versions and left the 'c4doctane-R2024.xlib' file, allowed Octane in the Privacy & Security section.
What am I doing wrong and what could solve this?

EDIT: Solved, C4D needed an update.

In 2023.1.2R7, there is a problem with the ior map of OctUniversal and OctStdSurface1, and Falloffmap cannot work properly, but it is fine in 2022.1R8

I'm having a small trouble here.. is the 2024.4 particles colors not working with the motion blur?
both screenshots are from the same frame, no changes, just motion blur on/off
latest plugin and 2024 version, drivers up to date..

Hi,
could you share screenshots from 2022.1?
My suggestion is to export to Standalone to see if you have the same behavior.
And if yes, post the question in Standalone discussion.
ciao,
Beppe

OC can also achieve the effect of black hole distortion, I found a way

The black in the middle is the refraction affected by the falloffmap. In theory, the change of ior is similar, but on 2023.1.2r7, there is a problem with ior and the falloffmap does not change with the camera.
