There is an issue in reading the Gamma value.
Try to set it to 0.99, then back to 1: ciao Beppe

Hi there,

embedded help (buttons with lights, tags and so on) is leading to 404 error on my computers. Downloadable help is v4.01 only

Help in Settings Window Menu will open the new Help window (with a script error, but working).
Is there any chance that I get the interactive help back to work?

But I have a very pressing matter which I communicated twice in the past without solving it. This happens almost in all of the scenes I tried render as sequences. They are all complex type of scenes with particles or scatters or alembics etc so its really hard to do tests and see why and what.

PV is simply freezing (and c4d doesnt crash) while network rendering. It stops working on a random frame each time but c4d is responsive. Doesnt crash i can just cancel manually the render and resend it.

- I did format my slave machines, vram is never above 3gb in all gpus. Using win 2009/ 471.41 drivers/ r23.

I am using splashtop (but first time so this might not be related as this issue was present in the past) and noticed that it also drops randomly on one machine sometimes. Maybe this relates to my issue here? Maybe something in network configurations?

So after formatting, tried this scene both r23 and s24 and its freezing when slaves join on frame 1:

This is an old scene I exchange with Beppe 2 months ago. Today had this issue again on another scene, and it seems that there is something wrong here on my setup in network. I d appreciate some remote help.

please make sure to install Standalone in both Workstation and Render-Node, to correctly setup the TdrDelay registry in Win 10.

Your scene works perfectly in Net render here, wiith both RTX ON, and OFF: ciao Beppe

the Octane Light as a disc has a wrong direction (- Z). Rectangle Light is right (+ Z)

Yes Finally someone point this out! I wasnt be able to post in the forum before I was deperately wishing someone will find this problem and report to developer since the latest stable build lol. After long weeks finally!
