confirmed. installed the newest forestpack pro version 4.4.1.
I sticked with 2_16a octane until now, I can confirm forest was working there.
it seems like this octane version can't translate the materials coming from forest. see screenshot:

edit: here the shot with 2.16a which works fine:

Seeing these black squares again in the map editor:
Jim, it's not possible to show the map there?

Asked this before, again and again...

Often working with Orthographic Projection and function Clipping yes! octane in camera has this feature but there not Orthographic Projectio.
If I work with a standard camera that every time I have to change the value of the clipping of general options.

please enter a support Orthographic Projection in octane 3dmaks camera or full support for standard camera with additional features

all Vray glossy materials are converted with ior set to 1...and I don't understand why

also translucent Vray materials are wrong converted.

I tweak all the converted materials

If I am a programmer....

One bug I am noticing, is the octane viewport freezes often if you adjust many parameters on the fly (especially if you hit 0 values)

For example, rotate the texture environment map by spinning the value up and down, if you hit zero, the render viewport completely freezes. I have to close it and re-open it for the viewport to become interactive again.
