V 2.25.0.64
You will need to update to the latest Octane 3 release of the plugin to correct this issue.

So, to have a reliable camera, which is the core function of a render software, I need to pay for an upgrade? I hope I'm misunderstanding this.

It seems to be a zoom issue. Somehow the following happens:
1) I render
2) I photoshop
3) I render again to change something
4) Somehow render doesn't fit anymore, but if I scale that new render 109.5 % it fits..
How and why and how can i prevent this from happening?

I cannot support issues on a plugin release from April this year. This issue is most probably resolved in the latest version of the plugin.

I'd like to know of course if this is really the case. Most probably is not so assuring.
I understand you can not work on older plugins. But I would not call a proper viewport an upgrade but a necessary fix right? Or am I seeing this wrong?

Attached is the latest DEMO version of the Octane 3 build of the plugin, so you can test for yourself if this issue is resolved or not.

I will test it myself then, but it surprises me that you yourself don't know if it is fixed..
This item has more than 7000 views, so clearly more people have this problem.

Hi,
I had a bunch of issue a while back over similar issues where the rhino safe frame seems to behave oddly regards render outputs. Ive had a bit of input from various sources and the best option seems to be to float a view-port to the right aspect and render from that. Not ideal but seems to be helping me out. This is using the dynamic Octane view-port.
Also to automate this, setup a button in rhino to open a view-port, set the right aspect and toggle to floating.
This is a 1.7:1 aspect:
!_NewViewport
-ViewportProperties Size 480 270 EnterEnd
_ToggleFloatingViewport
Ive not had time to read all the comments but will do as am keen to resolve some of the odd Rhino / Octane issues.
They are hard to explain sometimes!
Regards
Will.

hi Dottedline,
thanks for the helpful reply!
I'll try it out. Do you have the octabe 2 or 3 plugin in rhino?
