i agree
If the entire software was built around real-world measurements, I would agree. Since it's not, these settings were redundant. From what I could tell, f-stop had no impact on depth of field or bokeh and ISO had no impact on grain quality, so they only impacted exposure. Sure, they were real-world "standards of measurement" but they weren't real world measurements because their impact was dependent on other settings that broke from real-world standards.

I had exactly same problem even with 2.15. to fix it, needed to click on the "background" object in the objects menu.

Yes agree BUT he asked for the roadmap. and i think it is right way to go synchronized with the standalone versions.

i think you are wrong on report. See
the video what happens actually with background. Without moving mouse over viewport, cannot display correctly. There is not any problem with camera matrix, all is related with wrong sizing of background. It's occuring on first send of data to LV. can you confirm same behaviour?

Thanks for sharing your last Octane C4D 2.16.1, i have no longer crash with LiveDB and C4D, really nice
however i have lot of missing textures with the personnal materials saved both in the User LiveDB folder and LocalDB folder
i' have also missing textures with some otoy materials moved in my personnal user folder
Several materials saved from the localDB do not appear in the C4D materials list.
i have no missing textures with octane 2.16 stand alone with shared Local DB
thanks in advance for your help

new problem with materials directly saved from C4D in LocalDB, error in Octane Stand Alone
Work fine with materials saved directly from C4D in User LiveDb and manually copy and move in LocalDB folder.
