Karba, could you redirect Max gradient ramp mat outputs to the Octane ramp node inputs?
I totally forgot about that node type.

Hi Rodrigo,
why would you need active shade when you have Octane's own viewport?
personally i think having a "5th" viewport is a big plus.

Just because the others have and for max integration.. another would be nice.. a 5th view is not an option, but just because theres no other way. If we had active shade (on viewport directly) render AND this 5th viewport, it would be an "OPTION". I work on a laptop.. another window fills my entire screen.. :s

That's true...maybe a way to dock the octane window in max would help circumvent the need for an active shade window.

How do I test the plugin? I downloaded the plugin for testing, but it asks for the password and login, put my live and does not enter !
