Thank you MIB!
That got me further along, but I am running into another issue. When I start the export script in Max, it insists that I use an existing project and won't allow me to create a new project. Anyhow, since you're not a Max user and the script in this thread appears to be an old version, I'll post my issue to the other thread that you provided the link to.
