OSX builds will be updated soon!
Still getting loads of crashes with this build when rendering to the Picture Viewer in 2025.01 Seems to only happen after I have initiated at least one time the Live Viewer. Only rendering via the AOV Group.

Then please share an example scene with me and detailed info about it. It's not same issue most likely

Hi, thank you for this realease!
When you use C4D (new) particles, bake the sim and then move it around in the viewport, the sim stays in the same position in the Live Viewer. The change doesn't seem to register for Octane.

Also, I don't know if motion blur works with these new particles yet? I tried with no success.

Having troubles in the latest Octane C4D Plugin (2024.1.R2) with Cryptomattes not recognizing objects that have materials that contain emissions. If I either render them in an older version of Octane or disconnect the emission node from the Universal Material on the cloner, the cryptos work correctly.
macOS 14.6.1
C4D 2023
Octane 2023.1.3 R5
macOS 14.6.1
C4D 2023
Octane 2024.1 R2
Cheers,
Mike

Could we get your scene to check?

Sure can, but it's underwhelming.
I can reproduce it with a single primitive and emissive material, but I added a couple other objects for clarity.
If I drag the material between objects... whatever objects it's on looses it's crypto in the Live Viewer.
Cheers,
Mike

Is support for C4d R20 coming...or will support for that be deprecated?

I might have stumbled upon a mismatch in direction for the Directlight? For some angles it renders correct, for others it seems to be 90°s or more off.
Tested with Plugin 2024.1 R2 and C4D 2025.0.2. The same scene renders correctly for the older combination of 2023.1.3 R4 with C4D 2024.5.1.
(I'll upload the scene if useful, but it's all standard objects and the default Directlight. I played around with the rotation order, but none seems to fit and YZX is the default for newly created Directlights, so I stuck with that.)
