Wouldn't it be better to have this option as a permanent option, not scene based ?

BorisGoreta wrote:It wouldn't hurt to have an offset for a TFD simulation. Since simulations often have some start state and then it takes some time to make something out of it first 50 to 100 frames are often not usable.
Also with an offset it would be possible to use the same TFD simulation in the scene many times ( with different offests ) like when having a torch fire simulation.
I've added a frame offset parameter for the TFD sequences for the next build.

I have a suggestion. I don't know if you remember? But I mentioned before about the need to use reload, if I create sliders to control camera settings.. like DOF.. manually.
Would it be possible to add a timer to the interface (that I can set) so that I don't have to keep pressing that reload button every time I move a slider? Like once a second or so?
I know it depends on how quickly things are able to reload of course, but I think you know what I am after. It would help make things a bit easier.

You have several IPR commands like "Octane_IPR_Redraw" and "Octane_IPR_Reload" that you can assign to a hotkey if you need to use these functions frequently. Hope this helps.
