thanks for you very fast and detailed explantion as always.

thinks are now working, i don't know what went wrong, but one thing i found out was i had to use the highpoly and not standard model to get the right materials.

but one thing i don't get - how to use the proxies?

i select geometri > octane > octaneproxy > select a proxy file and try to insert it, but all i get is a "no file" text where i insert.

ps. i know this probably has nothing to do with your product, it's only my restricted capabilities :-/

you can have these models for blender (octane plugin). The models that I find obj normally require a long process to adjust the materials ...

Anybody purchase from this vendor recently? Is it still in operation? The site is up and running but the contact form doesn't seem to work, same goes for the email-adress - my mail bounced.

hey Elden, yeah website is running fine, so does all the products, although the contact form not sure why borken, will move to a new website when I got free time!
for email address, i am not sure why yours got bounced, I always reply to customer email very quick and never happen before, could u please try to contact us again via email? thanks! [email protected] or try my personal email: [email protected]
