Soo.. JimStar? What's going on? You guys aren't really too great at getting back to customers. A lot of questions are going unanswered in the forums, I feel. I think you should look at implementing a ticketsystem, and let the forum be a forum, where people can discuss amongst themselves if they want, meanwhile you get relevant questions directly sent to you.
There's still the issue with texture-tiling which I reported on weeks ago and I haven't heard a word. Come on guys.

Be patient please.
I'm not dedicated to Maya plugin only. In the last month I have worked on five different tasks plus Maya plugin awaiting before I become free for it, few of these tasks are divided by versions for different operating systems each. How do you think what amount of time I have to sit on the forums to answer the questions about the task I'm not working on right now?..
Don't worry, the next task after I will finish the current work - will be new releases of Maya plugin. But first - I should finish the current task. Then I will be able to switch to another code and start to investigate all your reports.

Hi
is it possible to add option to the thin lens camera node, to keep vertical lines parallel on next version?!

I just purchased Octane for Maya, and this version renders much much slower than the 1.20a, my renders went from 1 hour to 1 hour and a half, maybe a bug?

Just curious, is there any way to install this version into Maya 2015 that was just released? I was hoping to take advantage of the new boolean and bevel algorithms for modeling there, but I can't lose the Octane render plugin. If not, then do you plan to add Maya 2015 to the list of install candidates in your next Octane for Maya version? Thanks ahead of time and looking forward to whatever's next!

Hi JimStar,
I've only recently been octaning again so hadn't used this version much. Below is a list of issues I have come across in this version. Some have already been mentioned in this thread or others but I just wanted to put all my observations in one place.
1. Although diffuse shaders created in this version are now recognized as octane shaders and exported to the engine any legacy diffuse shaders created in older versions are still being converted to grey on export, this is really annoying when bringing old scenes with many diffuse shaders through to this version.
2. The new Phase slider in the scatter node doesn't seem to do anything.
3. The live DB error that has already been discussed.
4. ies lights seem to be broken, they no longer have any effect when loaded.
T.
