Hi Aoktar-

There's another bug that needs to be fixed. This has never worked. When you "save C4D scene with assests" it ignores HDRI's. This is a fact whether it's a absolute path or if it's a relative path. Octane flat out ignores it. It must not be programmed to see HDRi's?

Can this be fixed? It looks like it works when using the dropdown in Cinema's File menu so I'm not sure why it's not working in the Octane Live Viewer window.

(gts 450 for viewport, 670 for render)

it uses ONE card in Live Viewer, but when i start rendering - it uses BOTH cards as second one is cheked Priority_High - so the system is lagging and it's impossible to work or do anything

this bug appers in 0.87 and 0.96 versions in C4D 15

p.s. when i set my viewport card (gts 450) cheked and priority_low - it is not so painfull, but i still cannot watch movies, while Octane renders

for priority, be sure not activated "use all gpus". I''ll check anyway. and please remove the thread which you opened for this. it must be under this thread.

Hi,

I have a problem too for my graphic card selection. When I select my titan it's my 670 who work and conversely.

Another thing, the texture of the background object disappear of my C4D viewport when I insert a texture environement.

Thank you! But removing nvapi.dll makes no difference for me. C4D crashes on startup with or without the nvapi.dll file in the root folder. I can confirm c4d does NOT create a bugreport when this crash occurs. I've been looking for it, but nothing. When i have a "normal" crash from within Cinema (when octane is not installed), a bugreport is generated like normal.

Note: I also tried installing the 0.9 demo version to test, and this works fine! No crash with the demo....But i need my licensed version to work also :)
can you test with clear layout? If you have octane windows on startup layout can cause crash. It's only a estimate. Can you test with r14 if you have?
Yes i have tried to clear the layout. Have had that problem before, but this is something else. Using standard layout now. Tried the octane plugin on another computer with c4dR14 and it worked ok. I tried to install older versions and up to 0.72B works and doesnt crash r15. But all other versions after that crashes c4d15 on startup. So something must be different in the earlier versions?

datee, do you use R15 version of plugin? absolutely there is lot of different things. r15 version is new and not tested too much. but most people can run I think. I think you have a problem that's related with setup and not catched before.

Viewport shows me, the octane logo on the viewer like if i wasn t register.
Then API error when i m closing C4d =/

did you install demo version? try a very clean install
