Is this an ArchiCAD bug?
Hi Paul,
I got the batch render working perfectly.
you can see my workflow, maybe you can spot something you are doing different?
cheers, Jeroen

Thanks Jeroen

1) What build of ArchiCAD are you on?
2) Does this mean the plugin doesn't need a batch renderer (since ArchiCAD provides the functionality anyway)?

Hi Paul,

My AC build is 3487 (just adjusted in my signature).

The AC batchrender works great as it is, but (if I am not wrong?) in combination with the OR plugin it is not possible to have different settings.
For example: I can not have one viewmap rendered with environment daylight and the other environment
with hdri background by using texture environment. Or i.e. when using a focus with aperture it works in one view, but everything might be unintentional blurry using the same settings.
If I am right the OR settings are the same for all viewmaps, so the use of Batchrender in AC without OR settings linked to the viewmap, the use of batchrender AC is great, but limited to setting difference in rendersize.

greetings, Jeroen

Thanks Jeroen - I'll update my AC16 to the same build as yours and see if it rectifies the issue.

In theory, the next release of the plugin will address the issue of batch rendering with different rendertarget settings for each image. However, I now know not to makes assumptions like this until it's actually working :-)

I hope to have the next release done today. Adding the rendertarget for each view has been massively more complex than it should have been, so apologies for the delay.

Hi Paul,
In 1.11b3 when enlarging the number maxsamples the rendering starts from scratch instead of continuing :D

Thanks Jeroen

Looks like it's only restarting if it's hit the maxsamples already. I'll fix this in the next patch/release.

Yes, I am starting work on the Mac version in the next few weeks. In theory all the plugin source code will compile without modification on the Mac.
