Hey Karba, there's a bug with line in rendering.

I know that, but it will increase amount of poly for nothing, cause i not only have no needs to edit that mesh but also prefer to edit it in line :roll:

??? What do you think 3dsmax is doing when you apply a thickness to a line? it creates polys...
so the polys are there anyway, if you apply an EditMesh or not
You can still edit the line as line just put the EditMesh modifier on top of your stack,
so that Octane recognizes the thickness of the line. Easy! :-)

It´s true. This issue exists since version beta 3.00d... in V 2.58f it was still working without tricking!

Im not sure abt this... but when you have a line and choosing EditMesh in Modifier list or convert the line into Editable Mesh, 3dsmax will recognize its a Mesh with lots of additional polys. You can see this at Statistics :D
